EU-ToxRisk is a large, collaborative project and brings together the expertise from many partners. This is reflected in the broad spectrum of in vitro test methods that are available to the project to investigate the different endpoints. Below you can see representative examples of in vitro test methods to investigate effects on the liver, lung, kidneys, neuronal system or the endpoint of DART. For more information on each test method please click the picture below.

Liver

HepG2 (GFP-reporter)
Primary human hepatocytes
Primary human liver microtissues
Kidney

RPTEC/TERT1
Human iPSC-derived proximal tubule-like cells
Human primary renal proximal tubule epithelial cells
Lung

PBEC
PBEC-ALI
Human iPSC derived alveolar cell culture
Nervous system

SH-SY5Y
UKN5
